Great Review! you pretty much said everything i was thinking
(except that i thought edward was flat and unappealing in this movie)

[first for all, sorry for my english, but is not my first language]
Don’t agree with you 100%, but your opinion is respected.
I’d like to comment 1 thing: I wasn’t happy with the end, too. If Chris wanted to do it that way, fine, but I would’ve expect B’s reaction to be like “wtf? you’re kd’n!”, like in the book (that’s what I’d say if my bf propose, if I’m just 18, even if he’s “the E kind”). Just an expressive “whaaatt??” would’ve be enough, and then, all black. Just my opinion.

I agree with all of this except Robert Pattinson still sucked.
The wolf fighting was the best with all the fur going everywhere. The thing I thought was incredibly weird was the stranger with the motorcycle. Why would that guy just let her leave? In real life, he’d probably take her to an alley and rape her or something. And I loved the color of the contacts and Victoria’s hair.
It’s a HUGE step up from Twilight.

I really liked the movie and I agree tht the fact that i actually read the series made the movie all the more better b/c i went with a friend tht didnt and she was the wtf? haha but the only scene tht i wish they didnt put in was the scene when bella is a vampire. I thought it was completly unesasary and kinda ruined the surprise for breaking dawn.

In the book Edward and Bella did kiss and talk shortly in Italy. It was when Edward thought he had died and was in heaven with Bella, then the Volturi showed up.

Oh and the ending was so wrong, everyone in the theatre was like “What the Hell!” I also forgot to mention that Mike was amazing, I laughed throughout his whole scene with Jacob and Bella. Billy Burke… Was awesome. Chris Weitz was beyond better then Catherine. The wolves rocked. The meadow was amazing I agree with that. And with the future vamp look my friend went “Why the hell is she running through the woods in a white dress?” it was stupid. I loved it. I can’t wait for Eclipse.

I noticed the steaming! the ppl with me thought i was just seeing thngs :D

my favorite scene was when they were voting for bella’s immortality and she just says to edward SHUT UP

yeah the scene when bella was a vamp was gay

I really dont think K stewart is a good Bella. She was prob the downfall (no offense) of this movie. i think Ellen Page would be a much better Bella.

New Moon was amazing. I think that a few more Jacob parts in it. Now I might be the only one who thinks this, but the carlisle/bella moment where they talk about the reason why edward wouldn’t change her was a little intimate looking but that could just be me. Taylor Lautner was amazing, Kristen Stewart improved a lot, and Robert Pattinson was also good. I love Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed as well as all the other supporting roles. Everyone did great. I loved it.

hahaa this is funny. i dont think it was an intake of breath, i think it was an outtake of breath. (at the end) :P

  14. susan1692 Says:

She stuttered less in this movie, that’s one of the things i think improved. In a way, (not majorly) Bella in NM reminded me of Melinda in Speak. Kristen has played a damaged and a “who cares anymore” person before.

  15. Actingrl101 Says:

Oh yeah and I <3 it and cant wait for eclipse!! The thing with jake and the whole dont get me mad… i was cracking up laughing

  16. Actingrl101 Says:

Mike was HALIRIOUS! u r so rite about that

  17. kris84mlg Says:

i actually was a littlle disappointed with the movie…they showed it all in the trailer!!!! there was almost no mistery in watching it, but I really quite liked it though. i agree so much with you in the good points, but i have to add one some more bad points….why the hell does Jakes know it was Edard on the phone?? That was the worst thing, that makes Jake cruel, and it’s not like that in the book. And the CD with the Lullaby?? is the only present Edward gave to Bella!!where is the lullaby??

  18. acidxtears Says:

I’m still pissed that there is no romance in these movies. I mean, am I the only one who notices that Edward and Bella don’t even act like they are in love? Maybe they like eachother.. a little… but they don’t look in love AT ALL. And there’s no romantic scenes between them that aren’t awkward. the twilight saga is a romance, but it’s been turned into more of a fantasy/action sort of movie :/

Taylor was the best thing in this movie and I was so not expecting it! This was a great surprise for me!

I loved Charlie and her friends, I loved the three Volturi, they were a lot better than I imagined! The pack was ok.

The wolf painting was in her room since Twilight, I always thought that was funny, considering everything…

And I’m really excited for Eclipse just because Bella, Edward and Jake together on that final scene were so good! I loved the three of them in the same scene!

  20. carolzinha43 Says:

I agree with most everyhting. Italy was boring, Edward scenes were boring (but I think Robert did a good job looking all numb with pain and depression). The months passing were genius, and I’m glad that Kristen knows how to act depressed!

I still don’t feel their connection either, there’s no chemistry or showing of love and afection between them at all, and this is a HUGE problem when you compare Edward/Bella scenes with Jacob/Bella…
(damnit, I have to split my comment…)
