    Not the first time Leo was down to be in a film Bale was in, only to drop out. Shutter Island looks good and Public Enemies was AMAZING.

    The 1920’s to 30’s actualy seeing as Dillinger was killed in 1934… still, there “were” some pretty screwed up women back then too…

    Ma Baker (head of a gangster family,) Myra Hindley (Child Killer,) Bonnie Parker (Bank Robber,) Belle Starr (Female outlaw,) Ruth Ellis….

    Plenty more of em probably

    but i dont think this movie was good, could’ve been better…i guess this and miami vice were michael mann’s worst…but if i were given a choice, id pick public enemies anytime, friggin hate the corny ass actors in miami vice…

    hey was it just the bootlegged copy that had weird post production? or is that how the movie really is…i dont know if you noticed but i watched the bootlegged one and i could hear that some parts of johnny depp’s dialogue were completely fresh from the recording studio…i dunno some parts of the editing were really weird, scenes cutting to another without joining properly, and really inappropriate background music….but i love the gun fights, and love how the gun sound, pure michael mann

    I like the font and the movie was horrible plus the video camera they used was really different and pretty much that ruined the movie. Also this film was shot kind of where I live.

    wow your so wrong, yah if this were ment to be a love story i wasnt told i was told this was an action gangster movie and i was on of the first 10k to watch it as i got the screener crap crap craptastic liked titantic better as it didnt lie about being a love story

    now public enemies depp breaks out of a fictional prison with fictional cronies they commence to rob banks and be one women men yah there isnt much bank robbing as there is way to much love making dillenger was a free man for only 1 year and they expect us to beleve he was a one woman man i can say that with out laughing dilllinger was a public icon this movie dosnt even represent

    Go with an adult, anyone, but see it in a theater, not on a TV set.

    I just don’t think people should critique a movie based on it’s rating. If it’s rated R, don’t take your kids. It’s that simple.
