Sydney’s death – Melrose Place
Sydney Andrews (Laura Leighton) left the original ‘Melrose Place’ at the end of the 1996-1997 season by way of death. This was her last scene on the show and it was said in the season premiere of the show’s sixth season, without actually seeing her, that Syd had died. This was the perfect way for Sydney to go out – she had spent years being misunderstood and searching for love, and when she finally found it with Craig (who later blew his brains out)… ka-pow, she’s done.
